An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Purchasing Assistant to join my clients busy office in Gillingham.
The role of Purchasing Assistant will be responsible for working alongside buyers and suppliers to ensure a smooth purchasing transaction.
The key responsibilities are :
Managing fill rate to the target of 98%
Open order Book
Expediting from suppliers
Collaboration with buyers
Reviewing freight invoices
Dealing with queries from within the business teams
We are looking for candidates who come from a purchasing background and who understands international freight.
In return you will be offered a good basic salary with a yearly bonus. Fill benefits package is included as well as free secure car parking.
