Do you have experience of business analysis methods and an aptitude for communication and solving problems? Can you demonstrate knowledge of IT service design and integration tools and supervisor or management experience? If so, this is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the delivery of IT systems that will support a successful launch of the new Kent and Medway Medical School (KMMS).
A collaboration between Canterbury Christ Church University and the University of Kent, the KMMS brings together the combined strength of both universities and local healthcare organisations to offer a new model of person-centred medical education. You will join the technical project team responsible for analysing and understanding requirements, then developing and implementing IT services to support the School.
As IT Business Analyst you will:
- establish business requirements, working with subject area experts and key stakeholders
- facilitate and coordinate the delivery of technical services, including full service transition to an operational state
- act as project technical liaison between different workstreams and in-house technical teams
- design and measure success metrics and monitor service delivery progress
- work with the workstream lead and Project Manager on the planning and scheduling of necessary resources
To succeed in this role you will need:
- to be educated to graduate level or have equivalent experience
- a proven track record of working at a supervisor or management level to deliver project objectives
- experience of the principles, methods, techniques and tools for effective testing throughout the lifecycle of development projects
- excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders across different institutions

Opening in September 2020 with 100 students, it will offer five-year undergraduate programmes resulting in joint degrees from both institutions in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery.
