A proven Process Engineer or Project Manager with tangible experience of working within a fast-paced, automated manufacturing environment is required to join one of Kent's premier employers - a global business with impressive market share across almost all of their product categories.

The role will see the successful candidate join the firm as the Process Development Engineering Manager.

Working within their state of the art manufacturing plant (which is globally renowned as the best producer of their product), the incoming candidate will be tasked with leading projects to aid manufacturing development across the facility, pulling upon internal subject matter experts concerning automation.

The role will lead the review of manufacturing and engineering processes - it will rely heavily on process control competencies, and as such, will require an understanding of automation logic (the role has a large amount of scope to add huge value in further developing automation solutions).

The ideal applicant will have pre-existing experience of working within a manufacturing setting - preferably a fast-paced, 24/7 manufacturing environment that already possesses substantial levels of automation.

Evident Project Management skills are required - you will be a strong communicator who will be able to lead skilled teams of Engineers in achieving project deliverables across the plant within budget. You'll be a confident, natural leader of staff - an individual who can nurture, develop, and continually improve an already skilled team.

Candidates will need to possess a Degree within Engineering, tangible Project Management qualifications (Prince 2 and/or Green Belt), and a comprehension of automation logic (Siemens S7 or other relevant programming languages)
