Financial Accountant

We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Accountant to join our growing team, here at OneSavings Bank.

OSB are a challenger bank who specialise in specialist lending and retail savings. We’ve experienced significant growth over the last few years, with our UK employee base more than trebling to what is now approaching 500 staff.

The primary focus of the role is to produce the Group’s month end reporting and maintaining the Group‘s balance sheet within a controlled environment whilst being responsible for the day to day financial accounting.

As the Financial Accountant, you would be…
• Assisting with the review of the centrally prepared annual statutory accounts and annual corporation tax computation and returns for 7 of the Groups subsidiaries
• Performing monthly reconciliations of the Group’s balance sheet and managing the unreconciled differences to resolution
• Authorising the set up of supplier payment details within the supplier module of Sun
• Coordinating the processing of head office journals, ledger reviews and transactions posted by OSBI
• Planning and organising the workload of the Financial Control Team and supervise OSBI to achieve the Group’s month end close deadlines
• Assisting with the interim and annual external audits, providing thee auditors with supporting documentation

• The salary associated with the role would be based on your relevant experience, with the range being between £27,000 and £32,000

• Do you have a relevant accounting qualification?
