Key responsibilities include:

• Develop and maintain successful multi-level relationships across a portfolio of product specialists
• Introduce a regular call cycle with presentations, proposals and profitability schedules
• Prepare annual customer plans ahead of each financial year (aligned to the company business plan), to support deliverance of all budgetary requirements, KPIs and objectives
• Provide robust and accurate annual forecasts for each account
• Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and their speciality area of practice whilst developing and maintaining successful relationships across both existing and new customers
• Ensure all customer pricing is in line with the trade SSP and that all trade terms are up to date
• Hold regular reviews with finance to appraise credit limits and PO/Invoicing relationship
• Prepare an annual channel plan (aligned to the company business plan) ahead of each financial year, to support deliverance of all budgetary requirements, KPIs and objectives
• Work collaboratively with customers on new product development - concept, product costing, onward pricing, delivery to destination
• Oversee and manage both internal and external graphic designers, in the development of product/packaging artwork and marketing materials - in line with customer requirements
• Manage approvals from concept to finished article in line with license guidelines

Skills, know-how and experience required:

• A high degree of decision-making skills, which must be accurate and timely to ensure the business continues to move forward
• Good communication skills in order to effectively engage with colleagues and customers alike – both in written and verbal formats
• Must have the ability to manage their time efficiently and be structured in all aspects to ensure all goals/objectives are achieved
• Willing to act on own initiative and take decisions
• Generates and implements ideas that can maximise sales/minimise costs within budgeted levels
• Ensures accurate deliverance of all activities, with the ability to work to deadlines
• Ability to use word, excel and power point applications effectively, and a knowledge of AX would be an advantage
• Able to understand and interpret sales data, with the ability to present findings to both internal and external audiences
• This role requires UK travel, so job holder will possess a full UK driving license and be prepared to stay away from home when required
