Publishing company are looking for a full-time model stylist to assist their photographers in dressing and styling their models for photo shoots, for maternity cover only from December 2018 to August 2019 (this time frame is subject to change).

You will be responsible for liaising with the photographers to decide what “look” needs to be achieved, purchase outfits and style the model in the studio. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a keen interest in fashion, design and photography.

You will be responsible for managing the outfit and clothing inventory and ensuring all items are kept impeccable and clean for photo shoots. Experience of make-up techniques for photography would be advantageous but not a prerequisite for the role. You will be asked to assist the photographers and possibly do some digital editing – eliminating poor shots prior to editing for the website, for example. Training will be provided where necessary. The role will also involve keeping the wardrobe room clean and tidy, and laundry of clothes used in shoots. Being sociable and friendly to help new and existing models shooting with us feel relaxed is also a key part of the role.

The role will be based at the studio in Eynsford. You may also need to visit the admin office regularly near Longfield, so your own car is essential. You may be asked occasionally to work on location in Europe – therefore a flexible approach to working hours would be beneficial. A clean driving licence and car is essential.

Core hours of work: Monday-Friday - 9.00 – 17.30.
