Red Eagle Recruitment (AGY) is looking to recruit a Bookkeeper for our forward thinking Accountancy Practice client in Sandwich
Salary: DOE plus excellent benefits
Job Description:
As Bookkeeper you will process and maintain client’s records, with preparation of VAT returns and assistance in the preparation of management accounts and analytical review. To process client bookkeeping and to ensure it is completed on time and accurately. To complete checklists and maintain procedures and be able to understand balance sheet controls.
The objectives of the role
To complete client bookkeeping on time and accurately.
Responsibilities
Along with those responsibilities mentioned above you will:
• Bookkeeping processing and functions
• VAT return and processing
• Set up and monitor bank payments on various banking platforms
• Liaising with, and working closely with, client service accounts teams and direct communication with clients
Requirements
• 3 A Levels at grade C or above, or equivalent
• AAT part qualified/qualified or a recognised bookkeeping qualification preferred
• Experience using accounting software (Xero/Sage/Quickbooks/Twinfield)
• Analytical, with good attention to detail
