Due to expansion our well established client is looking for a Medical Product Sales Specialist to cover South East England.

As a Medical Product Sales Specialist, your role will involve:
•To analyse the specific market sector and to identify users’ needs, prices and trends
•To create business opportunities by contacting potential users using several channels (cold calling, attending exhibitions, meeting, networking, etc.)
•To understand customers needs and technical requirements to prepare the most adequate technical and economic offer
•To negotiate prices and contracts with potential customers
•To prepare together with other staff members tender material for the supply of the products to the Public sector or large companies
•To liaise with the other members of the UK and International teams
•To become a key in the successful development of the company

The successful applicant will need to have the following qualities/skills:
•Previous experience in sales of equipment for laboratories or similar material with high technological content would be an advantage
•Highly motivated and resilient sales specialist with an entrepreneurship mindset
•Must be able to work successfully as part of a small team or using your own initiative
•Very good knowledge of Office package in particular Excel
•Degree in Engineering, Biology or equivalent would be an advantage

This role is 60%-70% field based covering South East England and the remaining time is office based in Maidstone, Kent. Occasional over night stays might be required.

Full training will be provided with ongoing development. The training will take place in the UK, Belgium and Italy and duration will be variable and dependant on the successful candidates experience and skills.

Hours: Mon-Fri 40 hours per week 8.30am-5pm
Salary: £35,000-£40,000
