Job title: Manufacturing Engineer

Aesica, part of Consort Medical Group, currently have an opportunity for a results – driven and resourceful Manufacturing Engineer to join our Engineering team.

About the role

Your role will include improving reliability and efficiency of the manufacturing and packaging equipment using a range of technologies both old and new and to provide engineering solutions for the introduction of new business to the company.

You will be responsible for making recommendations for engineering initiatives and managing a range of projects to support continuous improvement activities.

Accountabilities

• Ensure that engineering activities and improvements comply with safety, regulatory and cGMP policies highlighting any unsafe or non-
compliant practice.
• Provide leadership, coordination and hands on support for engineering activities.
• Recommend to stakeholders when equipment requires significant maintenance, overhaul or replacement.
• Implementation of Lean activities and methods across the factory floor actively supporting the corporate Operational Excellence
initiatives.

Requirements:

• Apprentice trained in an Engineering discipline.
• Ideally educated to H.N.C or Degree level in an engineering discipline or has extensive experience gained from working in similar
industries.
• Experienced in implementation of Continuous Improvement Techniques
• Wide ranging engineering and production experience preferably in Pharmaceutical production.
• Good presentation skills both verbal and non-verbal
• Good interpersonal skills, able to build teams and work in a collaborative style
