The Hop Farm
The Hop Farm is one of the most famous and recognisable features of the Garden of England, boasting the world’s largest collection of iconic Victorian Oast houses. We open our gates to over 500,000 visitors every year offering a wealth of events and attractions for all ages to enjoy. Stretched over 500 acres of beautiful countryside we can hold an array of functions and events throughout the season.
The Roles
To assist our Hospitality team across site in each of our venues to create the perfect Christmas experience. Candidates will be required to work Front of House serving an array of food and drinks. Making sure guest’s needs are catered for in a timely manner. Clear tables and banqueting room in a timely and professional manner.
Set up the banqueting room for the following day, polishing all cutlery and glasses as required.
Some candidates will be required to work on one of our 4 bars serving drinks throughout the evening.
Hours
Christmas Parties run Friday and Saturday Evenings from Friday 30th November until Saturday 21st December 2018. Wedding and Corporate Event shifts are flexible and can fit around School or current employment. Shifts can range from early mornings to late evenings, 7 days a week, dependent on functions taking place.
Candidates
Will have prior experience in Customer Service or Hospitality and Catering industry, however it is not essential as full training is given on site. Must have their own transport due to the location of The Hop Farm. We are just off the A228 near Paddock Wood. Must be over the age of 18 due to the lateness of the hours, as some shifts may not finish until 2am.
Wage
Starting wage is £7.50 per hour or £7.83 for candidates over the age of 25.
Full training will be issued on site.
Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to work throughout the year as part of our Wedding and Corporate Events team on an ongoing casual basis.
