Job Title: Night Shift Warehouse Manager
Location: Belvedere
Salary: £22,000 - 28,000 per annum basic salary per annum
Hours: 5pm : 3am
Job Overview
Do you have experience managing a warehouse at night; are you happy working the hours 5pm-3am Monday to Friday? Then I need to speak with you!
Our client is a forward thinking, busy and fast growing supplier in their industry. They require a proactive and experienced person to join their management team to manage the night team where you will be responsible for the day to day running of the department ensuring success to facilitate the company needs. You will be ensuring the night shift is completed efficiently and effectively.
Responsibilities
* Assisting with recruitment and training for the department.
* Managing the day to day running of the team.
* Reporting any damages to deliveries.
* Attending Warehouse team meetings and reporting on your teams performance.
* Ensuring product care and products are put away the same day.
* Keeping the goods in bay clear of stock.
* Liaising with the purchasing team.
* Quality control.
* Ensuring KPIs are hit.
* Reporting on any errors and improvements to be made.
* Planning yearly objectives and targets for the department.
Requirements
* Ability to work quickly and with confidence.
* Able to be proactive and act on own initiative when the situation demands.
* Good management, leadership and team working skills.
* Excellent awareness of health and safety.
* Ability to plan and prioritise everyday workload and implement continuous improvements.
* High level of attention to details.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Reliable, honest and disciplined.
* Good at time keeping and able to work under pressure.
* Flexible and willing.
