Join an international outdoor business in a rural environment as Manufacturing Assistant

Nikwax, a leading international manufacturer of waterproofing products for clothing, footwear and outdoor equipment, requires a Manufacturing Assistant to join our busy Manufacturing team based in Wadhurst, East Sussex.


The Role

Manufacture Nikwax products efficiently to the high standards and quality controls as set out by the Manufacturing Manager by

• Manufacturing bulk product to meet production schedules and agreed company standards
• Being responsible for the setting up and running down of equipment and manufacturing runs and be competent with use of all other equipment
• Ensuring stock rotation of bulk products
• Keeping the manufacturing area and equipment clean, tidy, safe and comply with working practices
• Ensuring the company is informed of any faults with machinery, unsafe conditions or practices as soon as they occur.


The Person will be
• Educated to GCSE level (or equivalent) in Maths and English
• Trained in Health and Safety requirements
• Experienced in working in a production environment
• Experienced in quality management requirements
• Able to use computers to a basic level
• Hardworking and used to working in a busy team.

Due to our rural location you will need your own transport.
