Support the Procurement Team in this exciting new role.
Educated to A level, you will have an in-depth understanding of manufacturing systems (ERP, MPS). You will work well under pressure and communicate and negotiate well. You will have a track record of working to tight deadlines with accuracy.
This role will suit someone with at least 12 months' experience in purchasing/procurement with knowledge of manufacturing and distribution, ensuring timely and cost effective supply of all materials.
Other responsibilities include:
Ensuring maximise use of delivery vehicles
Seeing that suppliers comply 100% with performance expectations
Suggesting new opportunities for replenishment systems
Analysis of component availability and raw material requirements
