Our client,, who have a state of the art transport hub in Dartford have immediate openings for WAREHOUSE / LOADING BAY OPERATIVES for initial temp contract with the view to becoming permanent placement – these are long-term openings with some short term temporary vacancies also available.

The Package
• £8.00 to £9.27 per hour – weekly pay
• Full time work
• Immediate start
• PM Shift (14:00 to 22:30)
• Night Shift (22:00 to 06:30)

Job Purpose
You will be part of a fast paced team which can be physically demanding at times and where communication is key to successful and smooth running of the operation. Customers are at the heart of everything the company do so by delivering a great operational experience you are ensuring all customers receive their parcels on time and in great condition

Key Responsibilities
Candidates must be hard working, reliable and fit as role can fast paced and physical Attitude is as important as previous similar experience and reliability. This position will require regular manual handling of boxes up to 15kg’s

As a Loading Bay Operative you play a vital role in ensuring;
• All parcels loaded and unloaded from vehicles and effectively routed on to the correct locations.
• scan inbound and outbound parcels ensuring traceability through the network,
• reporting any packaging issues and rectifying issues where possible.

Person Specification
• Good team player
• Reliable and flexible
• Good time keeper
• Basic computer skills
• Knowledge of picking with hand held devices (not essential)
