Watts Farms Catering are recruiting a Pricing & Data Analyst to join our Dartford based team. The purpose of the role is to work with the Sales Team to prepare pricing for customers and ensuring our pricing model is up to date and achieving the desired margin.

Watts Farms is a third-generation family run business supplying over 600 customers including contract caterers, restaurants and hotels in London and Home Counties daily. We sell around 1,500 product lines including fresh produce of which a number are grown on our own farms.

The successful candidate will be part of the team helping to drive the business forwards in the coming years. The key responsibilities include:

• Maintain current customers price files both weekly and monthly using Excel and internal systems.
• Create price files for new customers, working with the Sales Team.
• Ensure the company are achieving the desired margin and work to maintain it, as well as proactively identifying areas which require improvement.
• Produce KPI data for weekly Senior Management meetings.
• Become a system champion to assist with training of staff in how to use our internal system (full training will be provided).
• Carry out daily tasks using our internal systems to include sales and data analysis, produce reports and invoice file.
• Liaise with customers by email and phone to answer pricing queries.
• Assist with IT problems in the business and liaise with our IT Support company.
• Be part of an on-call team rota for IT problems.
• Any such task as may, from time to time be required by Management.

What are we looking for?

• Strong numerical skills, ideally A-Level educated.
• Advanced level Excel skills is essential.
• Ability to determine priorities and be highly organised with meticulous attention to detail.
• Previous experience in an analytical role would be an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build good working relationships with our customers and internal colleagues.
• Proactive with good problem-solving skills.
• Flexible and adaptable in approach to work with the ability to multi-task.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

8am – 5pm, Monday to Friday
