JOB OF THE WEEK. GREAT COMPANY AND VARIED AND INTERESTING ROLE.
This is a great role for an experienced PURCHASING/ PROCUREMENT person with at least 2 year experience in purchasing. You will have cross training with the current person.
You will be responsible for the creation of purchasing contracts between clients and suppliers (including factories) for the supply of goods and services on a timely basis, ensuring that purchase orders comply with agreed safety standards, reflect the need for stock etc. This is a varied and busy role.
Other responsibilities include:
Supply side logistics world wide
Liaison with finance with regard to cash requirements for pro-forma orders
Negotiation of contracts to supply
Purchase order generation
Assessment of suppliers and dispute resolution
