CASUAL Catering Assistants - Canterbury and Herne Bay

Shifts will be offered on an ‘as required’ basis within our opening times of:
weekdays 9am-6pm & weekends 8am-7.30pm
to cover holidays, sickness and special events such as galas/children’s parties.

We are seeking reliable individuals to join our Catering teams based within our Leisure Centres, on a casual basis, supporting the operation of the cafe through high standards of customer service.

Duties include serving customers, cooking and food preparation, stocking and cleaning vending machines, checking deliveries of stock and maintaining high standards of cleanliness in the servery and dining areas.

Applicants should have a positive attitude and be committed to providing the best possible service to our customers. You must have excellent communication skills and experience in dealing with the general public.

The ability to be flexible with previous experience of working within a catering environment is essential. A Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification is desirable, although training will be provided to suitable unqualified candidates. Uniform and personal protective equipment will also be provided.
