Kitchen Porter - Trainee Commis Chef – Restaurant - Rural Wadhurst
This beautiful traditional inn is under new ownership and is looking for waiting staff to join the family team to come and share in the success of their new restaurant. It is both a popular local and a destination restaurant as they have an exciting South American twist to the cooking, combining the best fresh ingredients to produce great gastro food and some super Ecuadorian specialties.
You will need to have an interest in food, and want to progress. The kitchen is run by the owner and the small team require someone to encourage and wish to progress in the art of cooking. There will be lots of pots and pans to sort, vegetables to prepare and dishes to learn. However, this is an opportunity to develop more skills on the job and the team actively encourage the development of the staff.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a wannabe chef, who wants to learn on the job.
In return there is a competitive salary of £20,800, depending on experience and live in accommodation is available.
