We’re expanding our customer liaison team. Currently working in the heart of Thanet, TPMD is looking for someone with experience in a customer-facing role to help shape and deliver our community engagement programme.

From Autumn 2018 to Spring 2020, we’ll be completing over £30 million of improvements to Thanet’s ageing Victorian sewers. Working across the Ramsgate and Broadstairs area you’ll need to work closely with the construction teams to deliver proactive engagement with the local community, keeping them informed of any work that might impact them and be one of the first points of contact for any questions.

As a confident self-starter with experience of customer liaison, you need to be able to manage difficult or heated conversations, have an eye for detail and be willing to pitch in and assist with activities from delivering letters to showing stakeholders around a site.

TMPD is a new joint venture, bringing together expertise from across the tunnelling and trenchless tunnnelling industry. This is a great opportunity to join at the start of a business looking to grow our skills and portfolio. You’ll need to be available to become part of an out-of-hours rota covering evenings and weekends to ensure local residents are able to speak to someone when it’s best for them. With construction sites spread across the Thanet towns, access to own transport is essential.
