We are excited to be recruiting for a Procurement Manager for a global manufacturing company based in Whitstable. You will be responsible for all aspects of Procurement, have 4 direct reports and will work closely with the Supply Chain Manager. Along with your car allowance you can park for free onsite as well as kickstart your weekend with a 1.30pm finish.



The hours for this role will be 8am-4.30pm Monday to Thursday and 8am-1.30pm on a Friday.

Any overtime can be taken back, up to 1 day per month (12 extra days a year)

What you'll be doing:

* Managing all aspects of supplier relationships
* Analyse spend strategically
* Manage cost reduction and reduce in house transactions
* Engage with key suppliers to address any issues and identify potential opportunities
* Contract management including the tender and negotiation processes (new contracts and renewals)
* Coaching and developing the team (4 direct reports)
* Working closely with the Supply Chain Manager
* Using MAPICS XA system
