About the role: Strood Academy is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant who will support our pupils with Special Educational Needs. Working within a class, our successful candidates will join a well-established team of Teaching Assistants who provide appropriate one-to-one support for an individual pupil, or a small group of pupils within class of any ability and in any curriculum area. Whilst we would require our successful candidate to work across the curriculum, a flair or particular interest in a core subject area would be beneficial. This role is ideal for graduates across any subject areas who are keen to commence Teacher Training in the future as it provides first-hand exposure and experience, great for your UCAS application and training course.

The working basis of this role is 28 hours per week during Term Time and an additional week of inset. The actual salary, dependent on experience, is between £10,895 - £13,031 which is prorated down from £17,173 - £20,541.
