HOB Mechanical Services is one of the largest independent mechanical services companies in Kent. Due to continuing expansion, we are looking for experienced HVAC engineers to join our successful team. Our contracts range in size from small works to £1m+ and therefore relevant experience and flexibility is essential.

You will work closely within our team of engineers, taking instruction from the lead foreman, to ensure the smooth and successful running of HOB heating and ventilation contracts. Ideally you will be educated to NVQ Level 2/3 and have a minimum of three years’ experience working within the industrial and commercial heating sector.

Main aims:

The candidate will need:

• Excellent knowledge and previous experience of working within the industrial and commercial HVAC Sector
• Ability to read and understand drawings – installation of systems, including plant rooms/boiler houses
• Installation of ductwork (desirable)
• Exceptional organisational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Valid CSCS SKILLcard – or ability to pass CITB HS&E test
• Able to work effectively as part of a team, follow instruction and work on own initiative
• Flexibility and willingness to work outside contracted hours if required
• Full driving licence
