Salary Circa £38,000 per annum & Bonus & Benefits

Our client is currently sourcing a Technical Support Engineer, skilled up to a 3rd Line IT Support level, with experience ideally working to ITIL Standards, and experience of Service Desk, IT Support, Project Management or working with Development teams, to join their growing team in Sidcup

The work is very varied, working with colleagues and clients in a variety of locations, while it is expected applicants have sufficient experience to be productive from day 1, there are a lot of opportunities to acquire new skills in a friendly and professional environment.

Experience Required:

* Equivalent to 2 years or more of IT and business/industry experience is essential.
* Equivalent to 2 years or more of diverse (Service Desk, Support, Development, PM) roles and increasing leadership responsibilities across major incident and problem management is essential.
* Equivalent to 2 years or more substantial (more than 5 systems) support and team management experience (performance & capacity) is essential.
* Equivalent to 2 years or more demonstrated experience in managing communication "upwards" to senior leadership for level 5 incidents with number of different stakeholders is essential.
* Equivalent to 2 Years or more experience in complex system production release management is essential.
* Robust understanding of Incident and problem management is essential.
* Good understanding of service desk tools is essential.
* Intermediate to Expert knowledge of Microsoft, Windows Server Technologies, ITIL Processes is essential.

Desirable skills:

* Robust understanding of infrastructure, desktop and web applications is beneficial.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field is beneficial.
* Technical IT training qualifications is beneficial
* ITIL® Foundation Certification is beneficial.
* ITIL® Intermediate: Continual Service Improvement certification is beneficial.
