The Darcy Group is a well-established diversified company offering multiple products and services in the environmental sector through a variety of brands including Darcy Spillcare, Ayles Fernie and Aquasentry.

We are now looking for a Digital Marketing Executive to provide support to the Group Marketing Manager in delivering our message to the global market.

This is a new role reflecting the accelerated growth and expansion of the Group and its associated brands.

Overall purpose:

To assist the Group Marketing Manager on all general marketing activity across the Group providing support to the Category Manager in driving sales and lead generations. Particular focus on the development of digital and social media communications.

Key tasks:

Support the Group Marketing Manager with:

• Creating and implementing a social media plan maximising the use of LinkedIn, Twitter, YouTube and Instagram amongst others
• Developing and optimising our portfolio of websites
• Researching, negotiating and scheduling of print and direct mail advertising campaigns
• Maintaining the news section of the website and collating information from around the Group for an internal e-bulletin and external e-newsletters
• Obtaining copy, video and photography from Category Managers to support marketing requirements
• Ensuring the corporate brand identity is maintained

Reports to: Group Marketing Manager

Works closely with: Graphic Designer, Sales Managers, External agencies and marketing services suppliers

Salary and benefits:

£18,000 to £24,000 per annum depending on experience plus pension contribution and 25 days’ holiday

Job location:

This role is based at our offices in Kemsing, Sevenoaks but will be relocated to new offices on Larkfield Trading Estate, New Hythe Lane, Larkfield, Kent in November 2018.

Skills and experience:

Essential

• Minimum 1 years work experience in a marketing role
• Graduate or equivalent qualifications, preferably from a business/marketing course
• Understanding of and interest in digital marketing and social media in a business to business environment
• IT literate with experience of powerpoint, word, spreadsheets and other Microsoft functions
• Understanding of PPC and SEO

Desirable

• Good presentations skills
• Driving lead generation through online channels
