Following Whispers is an Independent Fostering Agency based in Ramsgate Kent that provides high quality Therapeutic Foster Care to local children. We are a small agency that ensures Foster Carers receive personalised support.
Overview
As the Registered Manager you will be expected to manage placements, develop and promote fostering services for your region. You will be accountable for the operational, regulatory and financial performance of the agency. Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will share the companies visions and goals, leading by example and successfully managing and developing a team of Supervising Social Workers to create positive results for the children and families we work with.
Criteria
+ You must hold a Social Work Qualification
+ 5 years’ experience in direct work with children/young people
+ At least TWO years’ experience relevant to fostering within the last FIVE years.
+ Thorough knowledge of relevant legislation's
+ Strong communication skills and the ability to build and maintain key relationships
+ You will be strategic and highly motivated to meet targets set by the company
