Overview of the job

Working as part of a small team the Online Marketing Executive/Analyst will be responsible for the development and implementation of the Company’s online marketing activity. Day to day responsibilities will include; managing website content, maintaining the company’s marketing communication, analyzing current website performance (including SEO, PPC and SEM campaigns). The role will look strategically at customers, products and competitors to analyse, report and identify profit opportunities across all online channels. Supporting and utilizing the sales team with targeted CRM campaigns to drive online sales and meet KPI’s. Ongoing validation of market requirements and the formulation and implementation of plans to take full advantage of such requirements will be a crucial activity of this person. Fundamental to the role will be the value that it adds to the Company’s overall bottom line performance.

Personal Qualities

The Online Marketing Executive/Analyst will be of graduate caliber with a strong understanding of online marketing techniques. S/he will be expected to have a clear understanding of how to take a strategic view of the business and develop and implement robust marketing plans to continue the growth of the online business. S/he will have well excellent analytical and planning skills, being able to identify opportunities in customer / product and web site driven data sets to produce timely campaigns to maximize profitability. As a clear thinking and committed professional s/he will demonstrate a tenacity to challenge and change established concepts and have the ability to persuade others that their ideas will work for the benefit of the Company. A natural winner and communicator the individual must combine energy and creativity to see projects through to conclusion on time and as a team player s/he will have the confidence to take a hands-on approach to getting results. As an individual who thrives on seeking out pragmatic solutions to marketing challenges, s/he will also welcome the opportunity to use their own initiative and flexibility in getting the job done.

Essential experience and skills

• Degree level qualification
• Knowledge of search engine optimization techniques
• Understanding of PPC (pay per click advertising)
• Copy writing skills
• Competent in the use of Excel and HTML to code emails

Desired experience and skills

• Previous experience working in an online environment
• People management
• Use of Adobe InDesign
