Position Expectations
To support the Brand Planner with all inventory related activities to effectively plan through the products as directed, from order placement through to delivery to meet company expected product availability and inventory levels.
To maintain the company systems with accurate information regarding all associated inventory related information.
Specific projects will also be designated to the job-holder on an as and when basis.
Key Duties
• To ensure purchase orders are placed as directed to meet company delivery schedules and inventory levels.
• To monitor supplier delivery schedules and keep company systems updated with accurate information.
• To liaise with shipping companies and ensure information regarding goods in transit from Overseas Suppliers is accurate and communicated effectively through the business.
• To keep all associated company records clear and up to date, either electronic or paper files.
Candidate requirements
• Energetic self-starter with a positive attitude
• Enquiring and analytical mind
• Computer literate with good Excel skills
• Good team-working and communications skills
• Be able to work independently and seek advice when necessary
• Experience in a similar field is an advantage
