The role of the Alumni Relations & Development Co-ordinator is to support the Director in developing key audiences (known as alumni) as active participants in the life of the school.
These alumni include current and former pupils, parents, grandparents, staff and Governors; formally established groups such as OLs and Friends; as well as other targeted groups within the local, UK and international community.
The post-holder will organise Alumni and Development events and related projects and activities; oversee the smooth management of the database; develop and embed a culture of ‘friend-raising’ within the school’s communities and, ultimately, support the delivery of the Annual Fund programme.
Ideally you will have a minimum of two years related experience in events/alumni relations OR relevant levels of expertise gained from a combination of experience, training or professional accreditation in a related field.
You will be able to demonstrate sufficient experience in relationship building, managing volunteers and have knowledge of fundraising principles.
The post-holder will report to the Director of Alumni Relations & Development.
Working hours;
Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm
Additional hours may be required for Events
