Job title: Technical Support Engineer

Location: Queenborough, Kent, ME11 5EL

Aesica, leading pharmaceutical contract development and manufacturing organisation, have a thrilling position for a sharp and ambitious Technical Support Engineer to join our established Engineering department in Queenborough, Kent.

About the role

You will be providing Engineering improvements and solutions for continues improvement, supporting site Automated Process Control (APC) systems by ensuring that they remain current and compliant with company policy and procedures.

Accountabilities

• Generate Design, Installation and Operational Qualification protocols and reports in accordance with company policies for new and
modified APC systems
• Identify validation requirements for new and modifications to existing validated APC systems in conjunction with the Validation
Specialist/Site Validation Manager.
• Ensure technical support projects and associated validation activities are completed within agreed timescales and to budget.
• Motivate and guide the engineering team on technical and issues.
• Ensure that the technical support team complies with regulatory, cGMP and safety policies highlighting any unsafe or non-compliant
practice.
• Ensure that the site is kept abreast of new control technologies
• Support development projects to explore new ideas and evaluate new technologies and systems in line with Continuous Improvement
Strategy.


Requirements:

Essential
• Apprentice trained in an Engineering discipline
• Wide ranging engineering and production experience preferably in both Chemical and Pharmaceutical production areas
• Automated Process Control

Desirable

• Educated to H.N.C or Degree level
• Validation of pharmaceutical Automated Process Control systems, project management
