Full- time Post Completions Officer

Direction Law LLP is a forward-thinking law firm specialising in conveyancing.

We are currently looking for a Post Completions Case Officer for our New Build Department to deal with the registration of our buyer’s title to their properties at the Land Registry.

This position has become available due to growth in the department and would suit someone who thrives working towards deadlines and organising themselves in terms of priorities to report back on a periodic basis to their supervising partner.

Role and responsibilities:

• Submitting Land Registry application’s such as AP1 forms
• Corresponding with the Land Registry to complete the registration process
• Working towards Land Registry deadlines
• Using the Land Registry portal
• Collating documents for registration
• Corresponding with mortgage lenders
• Replying to Land Registry requisitions
• Closing and sending files to archive
• Examining and approving Land Registry titles
• Sending final documentation to clients and mortgage lenders

Required or desirable experience and attributes:

• Experience working within a conveyancing department
• Experience working with Land Registry registrations
• Excellent communication skills
• Good IT skills including Word and Excel
• Ability to work towards deadlines
• Ability to prioritise and work under pressure at times
• Experience using Partner for Windows
• Excellent time keeping and organisational skills

This position will suit someone who has excellent organisational skills and enjoys working in a busy environment. Training will be provided however knowledge of Land Registry documents is desirable.
