This is an exciting opportunity to work with By the Bridge with Cambian; an independent and leading fostering organisation with a unique therapeutic approach, providing high quality foster care for children of all ages and abilities.

The Role
We are seeking an Assistant Referrals Manager to work within our busy Referrals department, where we receive enquiries from local authority customers seeking to refer children and young people for foster family placement. This is a front line role working alongside the Referrals Manager assisting with the end to end process from the initial enquiry through to full service delivery.

The aim of this role is to aid the growth of the company by placing children with suitably matched foster families. The Assistant Referrals Manager will also take the lead on overseeing the Respite and Supervised Contact process and the management of Staying Put arrangements. The role will also include some line management responsibilities for members of the team.

You
You will be a qualified social worker and an excellent communicator with the ability to build strong working relationships with all stakeholders across the business and our local authority customers. You will be a team player with a dynamic and confident personality, self motivated and able to motivate others. In addition you will be highly organised with excellent IT skills, specifically Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Experience using Microsoft Dynamics CRM system would be advantageous however this is not essential. You will be familiar working in a fast paced environment with emotional resilience and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
