Successful multi-office Chartered Accountancy practice has an opportunity to join the team at the Sevenoaks office as an audit and accounts senior. The firm provides a variety of services to predominantly family owned and owner managed businesses throughout the South East and across the UK.
Your new role will involve working on a portfolio of varied clients which will primarily consist of limited companies from a diverse range of industry sectors.

The ideal candidate will be a newly or recently qualified (ACA or ACCA) with previous accounts and audit experience in a small/medium or regional accounting firm. You will be used to preparing accounts and undertaking audits for OMB/SME businesses. You will have experience working in a team environment on multiple audit clients, building important relationships with clients and being able to prioritise and work to deadlines.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Preparing and reviewing audit working papers, along with drafts of financial statements, and completing on-site client audits
• Producing management and statutory accounts for clients
• Addressing and discussing with clients any technical accounting issues and identifying areas requiring improvement in client business processes
• Assisting the development of junior assistants in the team
• Drafting of corporation tax computations and returns
