A global market leader is looking to recruit a Procurement Specialist.
You will be responsible for procurement of specific categories of goods such as technical equipment as well as computers and raw materials.
Essential functions for the role will include all purchasing functions related to the procurement of goods and materials.
You must also manage order changes with suppliers to avoid cost and delivery delays as well as negotiating prices and lead times with vendors that are not part of a corporate contract.
Other elements of the role include analysing and identifying supplier trends to determine corrective action plans which could result in looking for a new vendor as well as monitoring purchase price variances and resolving any issues with the vendor.
The right candidate must have extensive materials management and purchasing experience in a manufacturing environment.
A degree in business management or related would be an advantage.
