We are the UK market leader in holiday add-ons selling airport parking & hotels, travel insurance, lounges and more! We also specialise in London theatre breaks as well as working on behalf of the UK’s leading theme-park brands as their official short breaks provider. We’re looking for an Experienced Executive Assistant (EA) to join us on the Holiday Extras campus and support our Deputy CEO.

The Executive Assistant role in a nutshell:

As an EA at Holiday Extras, you will create “less hassle” by delivering outstanding executive support to the Deputy CEO and wider Leadership Team, enabling them to focus on delivering the future strategy and growth of the business. You’ll partner with the Deputy CEO, along with other members of the senior management team when necessary to provide essential Executive, personal and administrative assistance. As a Confident, forward thinking and intuitive individual, you’ll be able to adapt to ever-changing business priorities within a fast paced commercial environment.

You will lead a small team of Executive and Personal Assistants that provide invaluable support to Holiday Extras leadership team. As an experienced EA, you’ll use your brilliant coaching and management skills to drive the performance of our incredible PA’s by helping the team achieve their goals and perform at their best. You will be motivating, inspiring and able to expertly balance people’s individual needs with the needs of Holiday Extras.

What you will be doing:

Providing ‘day to day’ assistance and support; coordinating correspondence, diary management, phone calls, emails, meetings, travel, admin support, technical assistance, minute taking weekly updates all the while ensuring you handle information confidentially.
Market and company research, preparing slide presentations, running mini projects on behalf of Deputy CEO.
Partnering in some meetings to follow up on actions, preparing board packs and circulating/collating feedback
Planning and execution of critical events from start to finish, driving and strengthening strategic plans and team building.
Act as the key point of contact for external visitors when visiting our campuses creating an excellent first impression. Collecting them from the station and conducting tours of the campus.
Booking and coordination of travel for the Leadership Team and visitors.
Manage the Travel & Expenses budget and ensure that we are getting the best value for money.
Arranging Check-in reviews with the Deputy CEO’s direct reports.
Process expenses on behalf of the Deputy CEO.
Support with ad-hoc projects and sensitive/confidential correspondence etc.
Expertly building rapport with senior people and other contacts both internally and externally.
You’ll be seen as an extension of the leadership team so confidence and charisma are key.
Experience:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both oral and written, with the ability to act as a Holiday Extras Ambassador.
At Holiday Extras, we believe in “no fun, no point” - you’ll, therefore, be able to inject energy and charisma into the role, and use this to quickly build great relationships throughout the business.
Excellent emotional intelligence and empathy
In-depth experience in a similar role within a busy office environment, providing high-level support to the Leadership Team.
Strong event management experience.
Excellent computer skills (word, excel and keynote skills), organisational skills and attention to detail.
Able to type at speed and take dictation.
Sound business awareness and understanding of the companies’ mission and objectives with the ability to predict what is needed in advance.
As a champion of all things Holiday Extras you will exude our company culture and core values.
Essential Full UK driving licence
