Marketing Executive

£20-24k DOE

My client, a well-established and successful organisation who are based in Maidstone are currently looking for a Marketing Executive to join them on a full time, permanent basis.

This is a really exciting opportunity to join a business who have not previously had a Marketing function in the UK so you will be growing it from scratch. You will have support from their international offices and as such be required to spend 1-2 days a month abroad (minimum) at least in the first 6 months to support your growth and development.

Duties include:

* Managing all Marketing collateral for the UK office
* Writing effective copy
* Managing all social media
* Liaising with external agencies and internal teams
* Researching potential relevant trade shows and organising company attendance at exhibitions
* Working closely with senior management and overseas Marketing teams to create and maintain marketing literature and strategy for the UK
* Presenting ideas to the wider team
* Taking ownership of the marketing function

As such, this role requires someone who meets the following criteria:

* Relevant Marketing qualification, ideally to degree level
* Experience working in a b2b Marketing role
* An engaging, positive and persuasive personality with a real creative flair
* Excellent copy writing skills; first class understanding of language and grammar is essential
* A pro-active, decisive and flexible attitude
* Career driven; looking for a role to develop with a view to progression in the long term
* Happy to travel internationally where necessary
* Confident, reliable and accountable
* An interest or ideally experience within manufacturing or construction

We are looking for an energetic and passionate candidate with a good eye for detail. You will have strong be proficient in Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook. Please note, due to the location of this role you must be a driver with your own car.

You will be rewarded with a salary of £18-24k DOE as well as the chance to work in a really supportive environment, with opportunity to develop your career in the long term.
