Newly created role working for one of UK’s prestige furniture manufacturers and travelling throughout the South of England to ensure that the company’s products are presented to the highest standards within major retail stores.

• You will create and operate an effective journey plan to ensure that all group partner stores are visited regularly.
• At each store you will review and advise on product position, presentation, marketing offers and POS.
• During your visits you will also provide product training to the retailers’ sales consultants and deal with any product and/ or service issues that arise.
• There will also be the opportunity to gather market intelligence on competitors’ products & promotions.

This position will suit a person who is looking to enter the Sales & Marketing arena and the job will provide opportunities for advancement in this section of the business. Ideally, a graduate trainee of smart business-like appearance, or a candidate with retail experience, you will have a confident personality and enjoy meeting a wide range of people.

You will be covering the ‘The South of England’, including the South West and Wales and as far north as Birmingham. With this in mind, the role will definitely require regular overnight stays in order to make best use of your time. You will need to be sure that you are able to take on this level of regular business travel. The ability to effectively plan your time and journeys is essential for this position.
In addition to the starting salary, your package will include a fully expensed company car, and expenses to cover your costs when away. The company’s Head Office is based In Kent and some of your time will be spent there for training, product updates and meetings.
