We are recruiting a Drivers Mate to join our expanding Transport team based in Dartford.
Watts Farms is a family-run business which covers 10 sites in Kent, Essex and Bedfordshire. Supplying 600 high end restaurants and hotels in London and Home Counties on a daily basis.
What does the job involve?
Drivers Mates at Watts Farms are the face of our business as they are delivering to our Customers on a daily basis and therefore It is essential we recruit staff who are able to provide an excellent service to our customers.
What are we looking for:
• Assist Drivers in the delivery of fresh produce, dairy and other ambient products to multiple kitchens on a designated route in London and Home Counties from our Dartford distributions centre.
• Ensure orders are loaded correctly before departure
• Ensure deliveries are made in a timely manner and excellent service is given to the customer.
• Keen and enthusiastic.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Fresh produce knowledge is an advantage.
Hours of work
Monday to Saturday, average of 48 hours per week. Start time is typically midnight.
