We currently have an exciting opportunity within Asset Management based in Snodland, Kent for an Asset Information Manager to manage the Asset Information team.

The Asset Information team owns and manages the information SEW keeps on it assets, ensuring both its completeness and accuracy. The team also creates standard performance reports and presents this data geographically to enable the wider business to make informed decisions and submit information on assets and our performance to our Regulators.



Main responsibilities will include:

* Day to day management of a team of c. 6 staff.

* Owning the processes and standards for collecting data on new assets and putting them onto our systems as projects are completed while ensuring these updates are completed in a timely manner and to agreed quality standards

* Developing standard reports and visualisation layers for the business to improve decision making and reporting

* To provide asset performance reporting for senior management, Ofwat and other Regulatory bodies, as requested

* Assessing data completeness and accuracy, and defining improvement projects

* Working with key teams (e.g. IS, Developer services, Operations and Engineering) to define data and information requirements for system and tool improvements.

* Reviewing the data and asset information processes for issues and improving them, as required

* Ensuring planned maintenance tasks are scheduled and set up within Maximo, as defined by others.

* Ensuring asset information activities are compliant with PAS 55, and moving to ISO55000, and lead on annual assessment for the Assets Directorate.

* To liaise with other external bodies to ensure that SEW is at the forefront of new technology and approaches on asset information



The successful candidate will:



* Have a track record in managing a team in an asset intensive industry

* Have a strong understanding of corporate asset management systems


* Demonstrate experience of data quality management and data improvement, as well as data visualisation

* Be able to present key information clearly to a senior level, both internally and externally

* Be able to demonstrate they can influence and work with other teams to deliver results
