Canterbury Oast Trust takes pride in providing first class care and support for adults with a learning disability across Kent and East Sussex.

We provide long-term accommodation and care for 93 residents and tenants across nine residential and eight independent living settings in unique family style homes.

We are looking to appoint a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (SPECIALIST) with a focus on carpentry to join our Estates Team

As a MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN (SPECIALIST) you will undertake general maintenance, repairs and minor new works to maintain the integrity and quality of the Trust\'s estate. This will include Residential Homes, Community Properties, Lifeskills locations, the Rare Breeds Centre and administration facilities. . Whilst this is a multi-skilled post it will predominantely be carpentry.

You will need:

o A multi-skilled building background with at least 3 years\' experience of carpentry
o Ideally served an apprenticeship or hold a relevant vocational building qualification
o A professional approach to addressing the needs of adults with learning disabilities
o Knowledge of health and safety
o Able to work at heights subject to risk assessments
