The main tasks include updating and managing the fixed asset register (Keystone) and project ledger system, including adding development handovers. You'll also be updating component replacements, running monthly depreciation reports and posting journals. Updating and managing other fixed assets and liaising with budget managers for capitalisation of costs. Working closely assisting the Development Accountant with management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, budgets and forecasting. You’ll also help prepare year end processes.
Must haves for the role include:
•A recognised accounts qualification or working towards qualification
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•A strong ability to work in a team and with budget holders across the business
•Experience of fixed assets in housing or construction
