My client is a not-for-profit foundation that helps charities to fundraise and manage their funds, and individuals and companies to donate in an efficient way. They provide a wide range of specialist financial and advisory services .
The Procurement Team is seeking a confident, friendly and pro-active apprentice to join their busy and dynamic team to provide general clerical and administrative support. In return the successful candidate will gain a Business level 2 qualification whilst also gaining an invaluable insight into Procurement as a career. Experience of working within an office environment would be an advantage, however a minimum of 5 GCCE is required with Maths and English at C or above.
Duties will include;
Processing of Purchase Orders to approved external supplier
Liaising with account payable to ensure the timely payment of suppliers
Maintaining accurate information in a number of excel databases to enhance the efficiency of the effectiveness of the IT department including the contracts database
Filing paper documentation
Maintaining preferred supplier lists
Supporting and assisting with the management of the IT department budget
Liaising with approved suppliers as and when necessary
