We are searching for an individual who has previously worked in Housing with reasonable knowledge of Housing Law. For example, you may have worked for a Housing Association, Council, Social Housing or Charity…
This is a long-term temporary role for up to 6 months for a Customer Service Adviser within the public sector, where the emphasis is on dealing with general enquiries relating to Housing Options (which will include the Housing Waiting List and Homelessness enquiries) both face to face and over the telephone.
Working within a busy team, you will also assist customers with their completion of the Kent Homechoice (Housing Waiting List) via online forms in self-serve kiosks located in their reception area, with on the job training and support provided along the way.
You will also receive training to be able to handle general enquiries relating to other Council services, including Recycling and Waste enquiries, plus Parking enquiries (including Penalty Charge Notices).
Hours of Work:
You will be working 37 hours per week
8.30am – 5.00pm Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (one hour lunch)
9.30am – 5.00pn Wednesday (half an hour lunch)
Rate of Pay:
£9.74 per hour
