A long term temporary role for up to 6 months, for a Customer Service Adviser within the public sector where the emphasis is on handling general telephone enquiries relating to "Housing Options" for example, the Housing Waiting List, Homelessness enquiries etc.
Whilst the role will be varied, you will not only be handling general Housing enquiries, you will receive additional support and training on a range of other local Council services, which could include any combination of the following:-
Environmental Services (ie street cleansing, fly tipping, graffiti)
Parking enquiries
Grass cutting
Sports Pitch Bookings
Elections
Recycling & Waste
Environmental Protection
Environmental Heath
You may have worked for another Council within the Housing Department for example, a Housing Association, Social Housing or Charity dealing with Housing matters.
We are looking for a team player, who enjoys problem solving, delivering in terms of customer service and working within a busy team, but please remember the emphasis on this role is some degree of previous "Housing" experience.
