A permanent full-time post based at Tyland Barn in Maidstone, Kent. This post will deliver a wide ranging communications strategy, developing, producing and delivering off-line and on-line communications.

This is an exciting opportunity to significantly raise the profile of Kent Wildlife Trust's brand, promote its vision and lead on a campaign style approach. Some of the key responsibilities are: delivering the existing communications strategy, cultivating media relations, raising Kent Wildlife Trust's profile on broadcast, written and social media and working with the Head of Marketing and senior managers to develop and manage an annual programme of marketing activity.

You should be able to demonstation experience in:
- developing and delivering communications strategies
- editing or a high standard of copy writing in print and digital content
- development and delivery of publications and other print materials
- effective people management
- raising company profile through media relations
- working with brand guidelines

You will need:
- a passion for environmental and conservation issues
- an ability to communicate clearly, accurately and concisely
- an ability to build purposeful relationships in person and online
- an ability to creatively distil complex topics into engaging and inspiring content
- to be a team player
- to be self-motivated, be able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines
- to be highly efficient with administration with excellent IT skills

Salary: £27,007 to £32,881 depending on skills and experience.
