If so, I have an exciting role for an experienced and ambitious Packaging Technologist to join our leading pharmaceutical organisation in Queenborough.

About the role

You will be providing support to New Business development activities and supporting existing products packed at Queenborough, on a Packaging Technology basis.

• New Product Introduction
• Resolution of Packaging challenges and issues
• Packaging Optimisation
• Packaging changes, as identified, to facilitate cost reduction.
• Packaging changes driven by Environmental and Safety
• Validation Change Control relating to changes in commodity material formulation and structure, packaging equipment, packaging commodities, and tooling changes

Requirements:

• Institute of Packaging Accreditation at Diploma level, or equivalent Packaging engineering Qualification (City & Guilds or similar).
• At least two years’ experience in a Packaging Technology/Pharmaceutical factory environment.
• Good analytical and problem solving abilities.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Computer literate – experienced with standard programs: Word, Excel, Lotus Notes.
