GCS currently deliver in excess of 200,000 on Desktop LGSR verification audits and other related compliance services per annum to both domestic and commercial residential properties, as part of a service provision for registered social landlords. These audits and other related compliance services to meet our client’s specific requirements include:

• Desktop Validation and Verification of Landlord’s Gas Safety Records (LGSR).
• Service Programme Management.
• Client reporting, such as Compliance & post inspection audit.
• Heating Installation Programme Management.
• Electrical Periodic Testing Programme Management.
• Preparation and Certification of Contractor Payments.
• Validation of Contractor Additional to Contract Claims.
• Attendance to Client Contract Meetings (including provision for taking Minutes).

The primary purpose of this role is to deliver the day to day duties of the above to ensure they are completed to a high standard, in a timely fashion to meet and that exceed our contractual obligations and the reputation of the company.

Key duties:
• Undertake the timely and consistent delivery of all desktop LGSRs audit verification checks.
• Assist with the electronic import (and Import failures) process of LGSR and other related data.
• Assist with the contractor relationship and suitable return for rejected LGSRs and remedial works.
• The completion of any completed audit related reports.
• Be supportive of the requirements of the Contract Officer and their reasonable needs.
• Supporting the Contract Officer with the Preparation of Monthly Contractor Reports.
• Provide support to the Contract Officer with and day to day contact from both Client and Contractor.
• If requested by a Contract Manager, attend Client Contract Meetings and draft the meeting minutes for approval.
• Act and deliver upon any reasonable contract administration requests by a Contract Manager and/or Contract Officer.
• Be available to assist colleagues to meet the reasonable needs of the business in times of absence and/or annual leave.

The above is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your role within the organisation and the overall business objectives of the Company.
Accountabilities
There will be an expectation at the onset to agree a number of key performance indicators and related targets for inclusion in a monthly (or other such frequency as may be required) progress report. These indicators and targets will be updated and amended as necessary but at the onset will include but not be confined to:
• Attendance
• Provision and timely delivery of reports resulting from Contracts Department
• Productivity
• Demonstrable improvement in operational quality and reporting


Hours of Working
It is expected that in order for the Company to meet the client demands and be more effective in how our services are delivered, that there may be reasonable request to alter the traditional working patterns in order to meet these requirements. The department manager will be the lead person in defining these requirements.

Liaison with:
• Clients, Residents and Contractors
• Service Department operational and administrative staff in general
• GCS Contract Officer
• GCS Contract Managers
• GCS Directors

Technical and professional skills:
• Demonstrates high quality standards
• Demonstrates high customer service standards
• Demonstrates a strong can do attitude
• Demonstrates a degree of practical knowledge of the gas and service delivery industry
• Demonstrates excellent time management skills and ability to work able to meet tough deadlines
• Demonstrates ability to works as part of a team or independently
• Demonstrates effective communication skills
• Demonstrates good IT skills and a command of all key MS Office products

Experience:
• Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of our Client requirements with the social housing market
• Demonstrates an understanding of the services GCS supply and their relevance
• Holds proven competences in effective time management
• Can communicate clearly and effectively
• Can work amongst a team environment
• Demonstrates an ability to work on their own initiative
