My Client, a Manufacturer of equipment that is vital to a whole host of diverse Industries, is growing their workforce and now looking to recruit an experienced Quality Manager to be responsible for ensuring that the organisation complies to the quality assurance, H&S and environmental standards.

The Role: Quality Manager

To ensure Quality Standards are fully supported and legally compliant.
Keep managers and team leaders up to date with current legislation and standard requirements.
Oversee all production activities regarding quality assurance.
Ensure that the company operates within HSE's guidelines.
Ensure that departments are aware of set objectives and these are attained
Ensure achievement of departmental KPI's and Company Standards.
Promote robust and fully compliant audit processes
Champion the cultural change towards Total Quality.
Provide monthly management reports for the department.
To be responsible for the maintenance of the company management systems for ISO9001, 14001 and OHSAS 18001.

Skills / Qualifications / Experience: Quality Manager

A minimum of 5 years in a quality support role.
An engineering background and experience with machined components.
Able to interpret engineering drawings
Knowledge of lean methodologies
Experience in H&S and Environmental management
Competent in Microsoft Office
Must be able to positively influence others, to challenge and persuade them to change their views, intension or actions, or to adopt a particular course of action.
