As a Quality Assurance assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring that quality is absolutely premium from the assembly line until the point of dispatch.
As a key member of the Technical team you will be focussed on communicating any quality issues to line management and ensuring products meet customer requirements and specifications.
To be considered for this role, you must possess a level 2 Food Hygiene certificate (or above), plus the desire and passion to progress within a food manufacturing career.
Job description:
• Supporting operational execution of key elements of the Quality System, including document control to maintain compliance with GMP standards
• Filing/archiving of completed Quality System documents
• Ensuring portion control on the production line
• Checking that all materials brought to the line are in life.
• Ensuring product recipes are adhered to.
• Ensuring allergen segregation procedures are followed.
• Monitoring all quality aspects of production, ensuring the consistency of products being produced in a timely manner.
• Ensuring CCPs are under control
• Carrying out internal audits as required
• Carrying out other appropriate duties commensurate with the position
Preferable Knowledge:
Knowledge of HACCP principles, internal auditing
Knowledge of implementing procedures and work instructions within Quality Management System
Excellent communication and problem solving abilities
Working schedule: Sunday to Thursday
Annual salary £22k, dependent on experience
