We are currently recruiting for a dynamic financial services organisation that are seeking to recruit an experienced Transformations Officer to join their business.

Duties will include:

* From strategy to execution, drive and achieve transformational change
* Through strong thought leadership, drive innovation and change, particularly within Operations, to create and realise opportunities, both internally, and relative to the external environment of the industry and competition
* As an 'Operations Champion', partner with other key business functions, to formulate and deliver the initiative/project
* Lead initiatives that potentially could include business sensitivities, requiring highly tuned change management skills, and including activities that might need to be retained as confidential for a period of the work
* Collaborate with the overall project team and respective Programme Manager/Project Manager for each piece of work, strongly representing Operations' interests and requirements throughout the end-to-end life of the work
* For all Change that is managed, ensure sound governance is pursued both within the Operations Transformation team, and aligned with overall Project requirements
* Actively track action logs and task lists ensuring the project stays on track. Drive results to meet or better the plan, managing deviations appropriately and in a timely fashion. Directly resolve issues, often complex and challenging in nature, but escalating as appropriate to support resolution
* Conduct accurate and timely status reporting, and produce key management information, for all activity within area of responsibility
* Ensure operational readiness and seamless execution of change, following defined project life cycle activities, decision-points, and milestones
* Lead meetings and workshops, collaborating with participants as required, and driving results efficiently to achieve objectives
* Support the business to develop an effective Quality framework to ensure that customer outcomes, service levels and key controls and quality measures meet the required standards as a result of the change
* Lead Operations through 'Go-live' & Post Go-Live
* Help support the co-ordination of all Lessons Learned forums with all Operations stakeholders involved in the project. Ensure all lessons are analysed, fed back, and utilised to create improvement for the next initiative/project
* Conduct and coordinate end-to-end process reviews aiming for optimal and effective process outcomes for the business and customer
* Support the Quality Assurance framework, ensuring all risks and issues are managed effectively and have robust corrective action plans
* Provide support to the Operations Transformation Officers in order to enhance the quality and standards of department output and delivery
* Support the induction process for new starters as appropriate and agreed with the Operations Transformation Manager
* Maintain delivery of work to the company's Compliance standards and fulfil all Internal Controls requirements

Skills and experience:

* Deep experience of working within a Banking, Financial Services and/or Servicing environment is essential
* Hands-on experience of successfully managing and delivering end-to-end Change, relating to different types of Transformation (e.g. Target Operating Model, Customer Experience, process automation, organisational development and change, work and processing migration, in housing, outsourcing) is essential
* Some experience in project management and/or business analysis is highly desirable
* Successful experience creating and critiquing business cases and subsequent benefits achievement as part of executing Transformation
* Direct experience in process re-engineering is desirable
* Strong experience in matrix management (including offshore), organisational collaboration, and strongly influencing stakeholders at all organisational levels is essential
* Evidence of superior organisational skills and multi-tasking ability
* Strong knowledge of the general project lifecycle and a variety of project approaches is essential
* Intermediate knowledge of Visio and Process Mapping is essential
* Intermediate knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel & PowerPoint is essential, and Advanced techniques are desirable
* Prince 2 Foundation/Practitioner, PMI or other project management and/or change management qualification is essential
* Improvement methodologies and tools qualifications are highly desirable. E.g. Lean, Six Sigma
