Operations Manager - Previous Manufacturing/Production experienced required.
Working to support the vision and delivery of the two founders of the business, you will be responsible for managing the entire day-to-day running of the operation of the business, as well as 12 members of staff.
Working for this fast-moving brand, you will ensure the strategic objectives are met, delivered and their high expectations are met at all times. This UK manufacturing brand put genuine quality at the forefront of their business at all times, so quality must be a strong focus for this candidate.
The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar position from a manufacturing or production environment, with experience of people management and a proven track record of exceeding objectives.
Responsibilities of the Operations Manager include:
* Work to review current, make amendments and implement effective processes and procedures;
* Manage all buying and procurement;
* Plan manufacturing schedules;
* Manage the day-to-day logistics of the business;
* Manage all quality control;
* Supervise all admin and production staff;
* Responsible for all supply chain management;
* Manage & implement any business change products;
* Manage the businesses day-to-day operation;
* Field any queries/issues from the directors and take ownership, escalate only in crisis;
* Lead all health & safety;
* Implementation of all business procedures;
* Manage business budgets and expenditure.
